“Hobby”

 

          In my point of view hobby refers to the thing that we do for pleasure. Different people prefers getting involve in different activities in seek of pleasure. So, hobby differs from person to person but could also be same in some cases. Two different person with same interests could posses same hobby. Hobby could be one or many as I mentioned it’s the way of seeking pleasure. So a person can find pleasure doing different activities. In my case my hobbies are music, football and creative writing.

 

          Among mentioned three hobbies football is my best hobby either watching or playing. Whenever it comes about football, one person I cannot miss to address is Lionel Messi, the formal FC Barcelona and Argentina National Football Team’s captain because of whom I was motivated and attracted towards football. It would be complete false if I say I started playing football because of him but I can proudly say that I started watching football only because of him. I was in class 8 when I first saw him in television taking on 2, 3 defenders at once, dribbling past them as if they were just statues and scoring wonder goals. I used to play as a right winger for the school team at that moment, the same position in which Messi used to play for Barcelona. I started paying more attentions in my game plans and executing them more properly. Still whenever I play football, I always try to give my hundred percent in the game. Playing football, scoring goals makes me forget all the problems of my life and helps to reduce my stress level. Similarly watching football, or particularly watching Lionel Messi playing gives me enormous pleasure. Like football music has always been a friend to me.

 

          It would be more justifiable if I say music has been a part of me. Every day from the very moment I wake up till the time I fall asleep, I keep music on in my background. Even now when I am up to this essay I have been playing music in the background. Specially, I love listening to music when I am alone. I love to go through the feelings of music. That’s why I am attracted towards the music with brilliant lyrics. When I was in school, I even used to sing and take part in different competitions though I never won any. Whenever I feel low or am full of stress, music cheers me up and reduces my stress level to zero. While listening to music I try to relate it in my personal life which makes it more enjoyable and emotional. Even people who observes me in daily basis believes that I have more flow in everything I do if I am enjoying music at the same time so even in the work place people don’t objects my habit of listening music. Sometimes, I even believe that it is the love of music because of which I am attracted towards creative writing.

          Since few years I have started devoting my leisure time to literature and even enjoy doing so. Most of the time I, myself love writing short stories, inspiring quotes and mostly poems. Sometimes I even spend time reading novels and different articles regarding travelling and fitness. For reading, I prefer print form of literature rather than online or any other digital forms. These days creative writing has been a great medicine for my hectic and monotonous life. I try to release all my stress and frustration in the form of my creative writing like many writers do the same. I try my best to reflect my pure feelings and emotions through my creative writing regarding public interest topics. For example my first English poem titled “LOVE”, in this poem I have tried to find the real meaning of love. Many people have tried to find the meaning of love but single definition can never justify the word love. In this poem I have expressed my own perspective regarding love. Recently, creative writing especially poetry has been a great source of pleasure for me. I try to release all my lowness and sorrows in the poem and make it realistic.

 

          Hence, football, music and creative writing all these three things have been inevitable parts of my life. They are the medium through which I release all my stress and pains and helps to maintain balance in my life.
